How Tent-it came into existence?
The story of Tent-it begins with two adventure-loving individuals, Prakhar and Bhasker. Both are hospitality professionals who first crossed paths while working on a cruise liner. Their shared passion for travel and adventure quickly turned them into close friends.
During their time off, they would plan exciting getaways, seeking out offbeat campsites for their vacations. Their love for camping and deep connection with Uttarakhand only grew stronger while they were sailing across the world.
Then, on an ordinary day over a cup of coffee, Prakhar had a spontaneous thought, why not share the thrill and joy of their camping experiences with other adventure enthusiasts? That simple idea sparked the vision for what would soon become a brand of its own- Tent-it.
Today, as pioneers of a redefined camping experience, Prakhar and Bhasker personally lead every tour, not as guides, but as fellow Campmates. For them, it’s more than just a business. it’s a dream come to life.
How it started ?
In May 2024, Prakhar and Bhasker returned home for a vacation and began organizing camping trials with their friends. They personally led every tour, ensuring they could deeply analyze the entire experience from the journey to the campsites.
Taking valuable feedback from their friends, they decided to enhance Tent-it by introducing two key elements: a Travel Lounge in Haldwani and Itinerary-led Tours.
The Travel Lounge was created after realizing that travelers need a reliable space to relax and refresh before heading into the mountains. Meanwhile, Itinerary-led Tours were designed to ensure adventurers don’t miss out on the breathtaking sights along the way.
With these additions, Tent-it continues to evolve, offering a seamless blend of adventure, comfort, and exploration. Come experience the journey with us!
