Begin your journey at our Haldwani Lounge at 9:00 AM with campmates. Your adventure starts in our Tent-it travel van, where you can enjoy the scenic drive and connect with others. This exciting trip sets the stage for a memorable experience from start to finish.

Location - Saleri
Our first stop is Saleri, and it’s the perfect spot for breakfast! Kick back in a chill setting, stretch out a bit, and try this awesome tea mixed with a touch of coffee. You’ll love the cool mountain air and the stunning views of Haldwani from above. Take a quick break here before we hit the road again!

Welcome to Almora, a chill hill station nestled in the heart of Uttarakhand's Kumaon region! After we arrive, grab a lunch break to refuel our energy. Almora is all about stunning views of the Himalayan peaks and rich cultural vibes, with its ancient temples and traditional wooden buildings. Once we've enjoyed a tasty meal, we'll hit the road again at 2:00 pm for our next adventure!

Kasar Devi, Almora, is famed for its alleged geomagnetic force, attracting spiritual seekers and luminaries like Swami Vivekananda and Timothy Leary. Believers claim heightened spiritual experiences and creativity in its vicinity. Kasar Devi's mystique persists, drawing visitors seeking solace and inspiration amidst the majestic Himalayas.

In Almora, situated in Uttarakhand's scenic Kumaon region, we'll explore Almora Zoo, also known as MRIG VIHAAR Zoo. Established in 1985 at an altitude of 1860 meters, this zoo showcases Himalayan wildlife like bears, leopards, and rare birds. After marveling at the wild beauty beauty and diverse wildlife, we'll continue our journey, inspired by Almora's breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage.

Almora Lal Bazar, centrally located in Uttarakhand's Almora town, is a bustling market known for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse offerings. Visitors explore narrow lanes filled with shops selling Kumaoni woolens, handicrafts, and local produce. The market serves as a cultural hub where locals and tourists gather, reflecting Almora's traditional craftsmanship and lively community spirit.

Location - Campsite
After experiencing the day's highlights, we'll move to our surprise campsite by 6:30 PM. Upon arrival, campmates will assist in pitching tents. Embracing the nomadic spirit, we'll engage in tasks like gathering firewood and securing water. Before dinner, a local expert will join us around the bonfire, where we'll snack, share stories, and soak in the ambiance.

Location - Campsite
Prepare for a morning adventure as we set out on a 7:00 am walk, led by our campmate. Enjoy the crisp morning air and witness the beautiful sunrise in Almora, where the sun rays hit the hilltops and reflect a golden charm all around. It’s a wonderful way to experience the beauty of nature.

At the crack of 8:00 am, our fellow campers will craft delectable toasts and brew aromatic pahdi tea, setting the stage for an extraordinary day ahead. This flavourful feast will fuel our spirits and energise us for the exciting adventure coming up. By 9:00 am, with tents neatly folded, we'll bid farewell to our cozy campsite, ready to embrace the wonders awaiting us.

Location - Kosi river
On day two, we’ll pack up and hit the road around 10:00, heading to the Kosi River for some awesome camping fun. This river, flowing down the Almora hills, is a popular spot to chill out in the summer. We’ll enjoy a tasty BBQ lunch by the water, soaking in the relaxing sounds of the river. It’s all about good vibes, flowing water, and delicious food! At 3:00pm we will wrap up our day camping set-up and head towards Haldwani.

Location - Kirola Restaurent
Before reaching our final destination, we will stop for a tea break at Kirola Restaurant near Kanchi Dham. Kirola Restaurant is renowned for its flavorful secret recipes and expertise in vegetarian meals, making it a perfect pitstop before heading back to our lounge. This pause provides an opportunity to relax and taste amazing kumaoni dishes, feel free to ask our campmates for highly recommended one's.

Wrapping up our two-day adventure, the journey back to Haldwani offers Kumaon's rich sights and sounds. Arriving at the lounge by 6:00 PM, you swap stories and reminisce. Our team ensures a hassle-free departure experience as well, handling your drop-off to the departure location and leaving you free to enjoy your time recalling the amazing memories you made with Tent-it.
